Ms. Stafford is Of Counsel in the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster LLP, where she specializes in environmental law. Her practice has focused on litigation of claims under federal and state environmental law, including CERCLA, the Marine Mammal Protection Act, and California’s Proposition 65. Ms. Stafford has also assisted clients with compliance issues arising from Proposition 65 and storm water regulations under the federal Clean Water Act, and has helped manage risks associated with real estate transactions by offering advice on environmental and contractual indemnity issues.

Ms. Stafford received her J.D., cum laude , and a Masters of Studies in Environmental Law, magna cum laude , from Vermont Law School in 1998, where she was Articles Editor of the Vermont Law Review . Prior to law school, Ms. Stafford marketed investor-owned properties for a national mortgage company and worked as an administrative manager for one of the largest single-specialty medical practices in Texas.
