Daniel McIntosh, a partner in the Los Angeles office of Morrison & Foerster and co-chair of the Los Angeles Entertainment and Technology Group, is engaged in an extensive business practice focused on corporations and other organizations that includes financings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, real estate, and other business and commercial law matters. Mr. McIntosh has particular experience in new company formation and joint ventures, executive compensation issues, equity and debt financings and real estate acquisition, financing, leasing, and development. He serves a broad range of clients and industries, including entertainment companies, interactive and new media businesses, manufacturers, and real estate developers, managers, and investors.
Mr. McIntosh received his A.B. degree, cum laude, in 1967 from the University of California at Berkeley, where he was President of the Associated Students and a Robert Gordon Sproul Award Recipient. He received his J.D. in 1972 from Boalt Hall School of Law. Mr. McIntosh is Past President (1995-1996) of the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the current representative of that Bar to the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the ABA Museum of Law, of which he is the current Vice President.

Representation of the Lucasfilm Foundation in its grant of $92 million to the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
Representation of Content Partners, LLC in multiple matters involving the purchase by Content of entertainment industry back-end participations in motion pictures and television properties.
Representation of Letterman Digital Arts (an affiliate of Lucasfilm Ltd.) in its development and construction of Lucasfilm’s new 900,000 square-foot operating facility at the Presidio of San Francisco.
Representation of the Southern California Glaziers Pension Fund in the sale of approximately 155 acres of land in Carson, CA to a joint venture that includes Lennar companies. This property was also formerly under contract for development as an NFL football stadium.
Representation of William Morris Agency in the 20-year-lease of a building being built for its occupancy in Beverly Hills, CA.
Representation of Lucky Strike, a national chain of upscale bowling alleys/restaurants in corporate and trademark matters.
Representation of Universal Razor Industries in the sale of its joint venture interest in an affiliated company to its Japanese co-venturer, Kai Razor Industries.
