David B. Babbe is a partner with Morrison & Foerster and former Managing Partner of the firm’s Los Angeles office. He is engaged in a general business litigation practice, focusing on insurance coverage, professional liability and banking litigation. He has handled a wide array of insurance coverage litigation in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Babbe served as liaison counsel in a multi-billion dollar environmental coverage action. He has also prosecuted numerous directors and officers' liability, accountants' liability, and borrower fraud actions. In addition, Mr. Babbe advises clients on alternative dispute resolution and other preventative strategies and has represented banks and other financial institutions in a variety of matters, including foreclosures, lender liability and other actions.

Mr. Babbe is a member of the litigation sections of the California Bar and the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.
