Christina Chen is a litigation associate in the San Francisco office. Her current practice focuses on complex civil litigation involving consumer class actions. She began practice at Morrison & Foerster LLP in 2003, and rejoined in 2008.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Chen served as a law clerk to the Honorable William Alsup of the United States District Court for the Northern District of California. During her clerkship, Ms. Chen was responsible for the entire intellectual-property docket, in addition to working on the wide range of lawsuits litigated in federal district court.

Ms. Chen received her B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. She worked for the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley, before attending Cornell University Law School, where she received her J.D., cum laude. Ms. Chen worked at Cornell Legal Aid and served on the editorial board of the Cornell Journal of Law & Public Policy, which published her article on criminal law. Ms. Chen was also a full-time extern at the United States Attorney’s Office (Portland, Oregon) and the Office of Unfair Import Investigations in the United States International Trade Commission (Washington, D.C.).

Ms. Chen is a member of the State Bar of California.
