Vincent Belusko is a partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office where his practice focuses on patent litigation, having successfully tried many patent cases to verdict. Mr. Belusko’s considerable experience also includes other jury and bench trials, arbitrations, and numerous Federal Circuit appellate arguments concerning patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, unfair competition, and related intellectual property matters.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster LLP, Mr. Belusko was a partner at Graham & James. While there, he first chaired a notable patent infringement trial in which a $70 million jury verdict for his client was confirmed on appeal (185 F.3d 1259). The case ultimately settled for $100 million. Mr. Belusko previously was a partner at the intellectual property boutique, Spensley, Horn, Jubas & Lubitz.

Mr. Belusko received a B.S.C.E. in 1978 from Washington University and a J.D., with honors , in 1981 from the National Law Center, George Washington University where he served as a member of The Law Review. He is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Court (all California Districts), the U.S. Courts of Appeals (Ninth and Federal Circuits), and the U.S. Supreme Court. Mr. Belusko is also registered to appear before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Mr. Belusko is a member of the Licensing Executives Society and the State Bar of California.
