Mr. DiBattista is Of Counsel in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring Group of Morrison & Foerster, resident in the New York office. Mr. DiBattista received his J.D. degree in 1996 from Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey. He received his B.S. degree in Journalism cum laude in 1993 from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.

Mr. DiBattista’s bankruptcy and restructuring practice focuses on representing creditors and debtors in complex transactional, litigation, and advisory work relating to Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 bankruptcy cases, non-bankruptcy workouts, real estate restructurings, pre-packaged Chapter 11 cases, and commercial finance transactions. In addition, Mr. DiBattista has experience in various real estate restructurings, post-petition financings and property acquisitions and dispositions.

Mr. DiBattista has represented secured and unsecured creditors in major bankruptcy cases, including Worldcom, Inc., Adelphia Communications Corp., World Satellite Network, Inc., Excite@Home, Pacific Gas & Electric Company, Fas Mart Convenience Stores, Inc., Conti Financial Corp., Golden Ocean Group Limited, Unitel Video, Inc ., and McCook Properties, LLC.

Prior to joining the firm as an associate in 2000, Mr. DiBattista worked in the Newark, New Jersey, office of Gibbons, Del Deo, Dolan, Griffinger & Vecchione where he was an associate in the Bankruptcy Group.
