Jeny Maier is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster’s Washington, DC office. Her practice includes antitrust counseling, antitrust litigation, and other regulatory litigation. While in law school, Ms. Maier gained experience in merger review and criminal antitrust matters working at the Federal Trade Commission, Bureau of Competition and the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division.
Ms. Maier’s representative matters include:
Successful representation of a prominent biotechnology firm in connection with the Federal Trade Commission’s merger review of the company’s sale to a leading biotechnology firm;
Representation of a major U.S. banking and financial services firm in connection with private antitrust class action litigation; and
Representation of a client in connection with an ongoing grand jury investigation being conducted by the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice.
Ms. Maier is a member of the American Bar Association Section of Antitrust Law. She is a contributor to the Mergers & Acquisitions Committee of the American Bar Association Section of Antitrust Law’s quarterly publication The Threshold. She has also co-authored articles relating to current issues in antitrust law for The Corporate Counselor and Competition Law 360.
Ms. Maier received her J.D., with honors, from the George Washington University Law School in 2005. She received her B.S.F.S. degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service in 2000, where she graduated cum laude.
Ms. Maier is admitted to practice in New York State and the District of Columbia.
