Sylvia Rivera is an associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster’s Los Angeles office. Ms. Rivera’s practice includes a broad range of complex business litigation in state and federal courts, and representation of clients in regulatory investigations. She has contributed to matters involving antitrust law, consumer credit fraud, unfair competition, and securities litigation.

Ms. Rivera received her J.D. from the UCLA School of Law in 2002, where she was a member of the State Moot Court Team and Editor-in-Chief of the Chicano-Latino Law Review . She received her B.A. in Political Science and Sociology in 1998 from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was a Chancellor’s Scholar elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Ms. Rivera is admitted to practice in California.
