Mark Poe is an associate in the Litigation Department of the San Francisco office. Mr. Poe's practice spans the range of civil litigation, from nationwide class actions to small pro bono matters. He also has a depth of experience in environmental and natural resources law.

Mr. Poe initially joined Morrison & Foerster after earning his J.D. at Stanford Law School, where he was an Executive Editor of the Stanford Law Review and graduated with distinction . After a period with the firm, Mr. Poe accepted a clerkship with the Honorable Richard R. Clifton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, sitting in Honolulu, Hawaii. Upon finishing his clerkship, Mr. Poe spent two years with the nation's leading environmental law firm, Earthjustice, in its Bozeman, Montana office, prior to rejoining Morrison & Foerster.

Mr. Poe obtained his undergraduate degree from Utah State University, graduating as the Scholar of the Year. He has lived in Japan for two years, and was a recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship, which he spent studying in the Faculty of Law at Hokkaido University in Sapporo, Japan.
