Ms. Ederer is an associate in the San Diego office of Morrison & Foerster LLP, where she is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on intellectual property, aviation and products liability, and general commercial litigation. Ms. Ederer currently represents the Cessna Aircraft Company, SC Johnson & Sons, Inc, Classic Residence by Hyatt and the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, among others, in civil litigation matters. She also regularly handles breach of contract and other civil actions for United Parcel Services. In 2005, she successfully represented a 20-year old woman from the Democratic Republic of Congo in U.S. Immigration Court removal proceedings. After a trial on the merits, Ms. Ederer's client was granted asylum. The California State Bar awarded Ms. Ederer the “Wiley Manuel Award for Pro Bono Legal Services” in 2004, 2005, and 2007.

Ms. Ederer was nominated by her peers as a “2008 Young Attorney,” a recognition sponsored by The San Diego Daily Transcript and based on an associate’s “work ethic and organization, knowledge and enthusiasm, professional ethics, and commitment to furthering the interest of justice in society.”

Ms. Ederer received her J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall) in 2003. During law school, she served as an Executive Editor of the Ecology Law Quarterly and was a member of the Moot Court Board, where she served as an advisor to Moot Court and Appellate Advocacy students. She also received high honors on her research paper, entitled "Bringing the Law in Line With Science: The Case Against BioMedical Research on Non-Human Great Apes." Ms. Ederer received her Bachelor of Business Administration, summa cum laude, from the University of San Diego in 1999.

Ms. Ederer is a member of the Litigation Section and Animal Law Section of the California State Bar and a member of the San Diego County Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in California.
