Nathan Taylor concentrates on assisting clients in managing consumer information, including customer and employee information, and developing procedures, practices, and other solutions to comply with complex privacy and information security laws.
Mr. Taylor has significant experience advising clients on compliance with various federal and state privacy and information security laws. He regularly advises clients on issues related to the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (“GLBA”), including, developing privacy policies and advising on affiliate sharing and affiliate marketing issues. He also advises clients on a wide spectrum of information security laws, including, GLBA and state safeguards and security breach notification requirements and state Social Security number laws.
Mr. Taylor also handles matters related to consumer financial services and the regulation of financial institutions. He advises clients on general banking issues, including issues related to bank-owned life insurance, permissible activities for bank holding companies, electronic fund transfer issues, and compliance with state small-loan laws.
