Amir Rohani is an associate in the Northern Virginia office of Morrison & Foerster LLP. His practice focuses on patent prosecution, client counseling, infringement and validity opinions, and litigation support. Mr. Rohani has prepared and prosecuted patent applications on a wide variety of technologies, including software design, distributed processing, encryption, systems programming, operating systems design, data structures, data mining, microprocessor design, semiconductor design, semiconductor fabrication processes, digital electronics, analog electronics, networking platforms, and telecommunications. Mr. Rohani is also familiar with several different programming languages, and has experience in the design and testing of digital integrated circuits, having worked for Fortune 500 semiconductor companies prior to attending law school. Mr. Rohani has also represented clients in the business arts; his experience includes prosecution of several patent applications relating to financial analysis and planning.

Mr. Rohani is a member of the Maryland bar and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is also a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the American Bar Association.
