Mr. Reilly is an associate in Morrison & Foerster’s San Diego office and a member of the Litigation practice group.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Reilly served as a law clerk to Judge Timothy B. Dyk of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit from 2006-2007.

Mr. Reilly received his J.D. magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2006. While attending law school, he served as a research assistant to Professor Arthur Miller and worked on Professor Miller’s treatise Federal Practice and Procedure. He received his bachelor’s degree summa cum laude in American Government from Georgetown University in 2001. From 1999-2000, Mr. Reilly studied abroad at Trinity College Dublin.

Since joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Reilly’s practice has focused on patent litigation. He has drafted summary judgment motions in a complex patent case involving computer technology and advised clients on how to prevent a finding of willful infringement after the Federal Circuit’s en banc decision in In re Seagate Technologies.

Mr. Reilly is admitted to practice in California and before the Federal Circuit.
