Jamon Bollock is an associate in the Land Use and Environmental Law Group of Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco office. Mr. Bollock represents a wide range of clients in all aspects of environmental law, including litigation and compliance matters involving hazardous waste, water quality, and natural resources.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Bollock was a trial attorney in the Environment & Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. In that position, he brought enforcement and cost recovery actions under CERCLA, RCRA, the Toxic Substances Control Act, Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, and Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act. While at the Department of Justice, Mr. Bollock participated in the federal government’s national initiative for the mineral processing and mining industry, which involved coordinating federal and state enforcement strategies while working closely with facilities to remedy and prevent ground water, surface water, and soil contamination.

Mr. Bollock clerked for Judge Procter R. Hug, Jr., of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and was formerly a litigation associate at Cooley Godward LLP. Prior to beginning his legal career, Mr. Bollock served as an advisor to U.S. Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle, focusing on environmental policy and transportation issues.

Mr. Bollock received his J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he served as an editor of the Stanford Law Review. He graduated summa cum laude from Bowdoin College with an A.B. in Government and Environmental Studies and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Mr. Bollock is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in California.
