Adam J. Heintz is an associate in the litigation department in the New York office of Morrison & Foerster LLP. He earned his J.D. in 2006 from the New York University School of Law, where he was a Sullivan & Cromwell Public Interest Scholar, and Staff Development Editor of the Review of Law and Social Change. He earned his B.A. in 1999 from Oberlin College.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Heintz worked as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Cheryl L. Pollak of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York. Before attending law school, he served at a number of non-profit and public service organizations, including the New York City Gay and Lesbian Anti-Violence Project, the National Development and Research Institute, and the Gay Men’s Domestic Violence Project. He is co-author of the article “Intimate Partner Violence and HIV/STD Risk Among Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender People,” published in The Journal of Interpersonal Violence.
