Kerry S. Acocella is an associate in the Corporate Finance Group in Morrison & Foerster’s New York office. Her practice focuses on general corporate, mergers and acquisitions and securities law.

Ms. Acocella received her B.S., magna cum laude , from the University of Georgia in 2002, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and majored in Psychology with a minor in French. In 2005, she received her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was an editor of the Cardozo Journal of Law and Gender and was a teaching assistant for the first-year legal writing program.

Ms. Acocella is the author of an article entitled “Out With the Old and In With the New: The Supreme Court Shows It’s Time for the Second Circuit to Finally Overrule McDonnell Douglas,” Cardozo Journal of Law and Gender (11 Cardozo Women’s L.J. 125 (2004)).

Ms. Acocella is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
