Cara Ann Marr Rydbeck is an associate in the San Francisco office of Morrison & Foerster LLP, and a member of the firm’s Technology Transactions Group. Ms. Rydbeck specializes in transactions involving technology and intellectual property, and she has provided assistance to companies of all sizes and in a variety of industries, with a particular focus on the technology and life sciences industries.
In the technology sector, Ms. Rydbeck’s practice includes advising on development and licensing agreements, manufacturing and supply agreements, distribution agreements, hosting agreements, and sourcing transactions. In the life sciences sector, Ms. Rydbeck has counseled clients on collaboration agreements for the development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products and medical devices, clinical trial agreements, and university-sponsored research agreements and licenses. Ms. Rydbeck’s experience also includes advising on intellectual property issues in connection with venture financings, mergers and acquisitions, and asset purchase agreements.
Ms. Rydbeck received her J.D. in 2007 from Stanford Law School, where she was a member of the Stanford Law Review and the Stanford Technology Law Review. She received her B.A. in comparative literature, magna cum laude, in 2000 from Yale University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
