Christina Chen's practice focuses on complex civil litigation involving consumer class actions. Ms. Chen's clients are in the financial services industry, primarily including national banking associations, federal thrifts, and financial holding companies. Due to Ms. Chen's particular experience with the mortgage lending sector, she is Editor of the Mortgage Report for the quarterly Financial Services Report published by the firm. She has extensive knowledge regarding the issues faced by the financial services industry from multiple angles: regulatory, business, and litigation.
Ms. Chen received her J.D., cum laude, from Cornell University Law School in 2001. She worked at Cornell Legal Aid and served on the editorial board of the Cornell Journal of Law & Public Policy, which published her article on criminal law. Prior to joining the firm in 2003, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable William Alsup, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, from 2001-2002.
