(California Supreme Court). Represented Hoechst-Celanese Corporation in first and only business income case decided by the California Supreme Court.

Powerex v. Department of Revenue

(Oregon Tax Court). Represented Powerex in invalidating the retroactive application of a regulation of the Oregon Department of Revenue. (2011)

Appeal of Home Depot U.S.A., Inc.

(California State Board of Equalization). Represented Home Depot U.S.A., Inc. before the SBE in the first corporate income tax appeal successfully challenging the FTB’s position that treasury gross receipts from marketable securities are excluded from the sales factor. (2009)
