The California Supreme Court made 2007 a year of dramatic change in employment law, issuing six significant opinions, mostly in the wage and hour arena, including the seminal Murphy v. Kenneth Cole decision, which tripled employers’ potential liability for meal and rest period violations.  Morrison & Foerster LLP will host a series of briefings to discuss these and other developments, including our annual review of the Legislature’s activities, and their impact on California employers.
