Description:
The worldwide “green” revolution may have a more powerful an impact on business than the digital revolution that came before
it. Energy and sustainability issues will affect which products and services will be competitive and how they will be marketed,
made, sold, and disposed of.
The Cleantech revolution is gaining momentum, despite troubling economic times. In the U.S., the new Administration and Congress
are committed to investing billions in catalyzing renewable energy and energy-efficiency projects. Sustainability initiatives,
driven both by government mandates and consumer demand, have and will continue to generate the need for new business models
that will reach far beyond current environmental and energy regulations.
All companies, even those not directly part of the Cleantech economy, will be affected. An understanding of this new reality
is essential – not only in order to mitigate risk, but also to capture the benefits and promise of the green revolution.
This panel of industry experts and legal practitioners will address the issues related to Cleantech and sustainability that
every general counsel should know.
