the creation and distribution of creative works. One of the country's leading copyright scholars, Paul Goldstein, Lillick
Professor of Law at Stanford University and Of Counsel to Morrison & Foerster LLP, will discuss how recent legislative and
case law developments are shaking the traditional structure and foundations of copyright law.
Topics will include:
The DMCA “Safe Harbor” Provisions
The Orphan Works Legislation
Transformation of the Transformative Use Doctrine (including a discussion of Bill Graham Archives v. Dorling Kindersley)
Potential Limitations on Injunctive Relief (including a discussion of eBay v. MercExchange)
