The paradigm shift from print to digital books and electronic distribution continues to accelerate, raising important issues for copyright owners.  Our panel will discuss current legal issues related to digital rights including construction of copyright contracts and termination rights, as well as the impact of recent case law.  Kevin Saul, the Apple in-house attorney who has been at the forefront of iPad’s publishing arrangements, will be our special guest for this seminar.  Also on the panel will be Stanford professor Paul Goldstein, a nationally recognized expert on copyright issues and author of the authoritative four-volume treatise, Goldstein on Copyright.
