Cindy Chiu is an associate in the Hong Kong office of Morrison & Foerster. Her practice includes general corporate matters including employment, tax, litigation, IP, real estate and construction issues in HK and Asia. Her prior experience also includes securities listings and debt restructurings for PRC state-owned enterprises.

Ms Chui was part of a team contributing to ‘Employee Privacy: Guide to U.S. and International Law’ which has been published in two versions by A S Pratt & Sons and Thompson Publishing in September 2007.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Chiu was the Assistant Manager of the Enforcement Division at the Hong Kong Securities & Futures Commission. She then joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in HK as an in-house solicitor.

Ms. Chiu graduated from The University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons.) in 1999, a P.C.LL. in 2000, and a Masters of Law in 2003.

Ms. Chiu is admitted to practice in Hong Kong. She is also fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and conversant in Spanish.
