Sha Hua is an associate in the Hong Kong office of Morrison & Foerster. Her practice covers a broad range of corporate finance matters, with primary emphasis on securities offerings by issuers in Asia. Ms. Hua has represented issuers and underwriters in initial public offerings, high-yield debt offerings, convertible debt offerings, and other private placements pursuant to Regulations S and Rule 144A under the U.S. Securities Act. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Ms. Hua worked at two other leading international law firms in Hong Kong.

Ms. Hua received her M.A. from Northeastern University in 1999 and B.A. in 1997 from Peking University. She received her J.D. magna cum laude from Albany Law School in 2002, where she was also the Associate Editor of the Law Review. She also was an extern for Magistrate Judge, David R. Homer, of the U.S. District Court, Northern District of New York in 2001.

Ms. Hua was admitted to practice in New York in 2003. She is a native Mandarin speaker and fluent in English.
