Brian Chen is an associate in the Hong Kong office of Morrison & Foerster. His practice covers a broad range of transactions including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, real estate acquisitions and financing, foreign direct investment and securities offerings.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Chen worked in a leading international law firm in Shanghai where he advised multinational clients with China-related transactional matters in real estate and construction, mergers and acquisitions and foreign direct investment.

Mr. Chen received his LL.B. from the East China University of Politics and Law in 2001, and received his LL.M. from Columbia University School of Law in 2008, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar.

Mr. Chen was admitted to practice in China in 2002. He is a native Mandarin speaker and is fluent in English
