Morrison & Foerster represented TL Ventures, as lead investor, in a Series B Preferred Stock financing for Nanotech Corporation, a start-up semiconductor foundry in China. The company is currently constructing a fab with monthly capacity of 15,000 wafers in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, China. TL Ventures is one of the most active national venture capital firms in the United States, with approximately US$1.5 billion under management and offices in Philadelphia, Austin and Silicon Valley. This deal represents TL’s first foray into China, where they are focusing on information technology infrastructure opportunities
