Morrison & Foerster has been handling major matters in greater China for over twenty years, having opened its Hong Kong office in 1982. After opening our Beijing office in 1998, Morrison & Foerster became one of the first international law firms to receive approval from the PRC Ministry of Justice to open a second office in China (Shanghai) in December 2002. The firm opened its Shanghai office the following year in March 2003.
