Vijay Marrero is an associate in the London office of Morrison & Foerster, where he is a member of the Financial Transactions Group with experience representing a wide variety of commercial and investment banks, broker-dealers, investment advisors and other entities.

As a member of the Debt Trading Group, his practice is specialized in the representation of financial institutions in loan and claims trading transactions. Mr. Marrero also represents clients in a range of financing transactions, including cross-border bank syndications, restructurings, private secured and unsecured debt placements and acquisitions. His transactional experience involves companies across a broad range of industries, including finance, real estate, retail, shipping and energy.

Mr. Marrero is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales. He earned his B.A. in Economics, cum laude, in 1997 from Dartmouth College and his J.D. in 2000 from Harvard Law School.
