Natalie Diep is a partner in the London office of Morrison and Foerster and is a member of the Corporate Group.

Ms. Diep advises on a wide range of corporate issues including equity offerings, private placements, IPO's and mergers and acquisitions. Ms Diep’s experience includes advising Songbird Estates plc (the acquisition vehicle of Morgan Stanley) on its successful £1.6 billion public takeover offer for Canary Wharf Group plc, and advising the consortium lead by West LB on its successful acquisition of the worldwide Scottish Whiskey business of Fortune Brands for £200 million. Ms. Diep’s recent transactions include:

  • advising Piper Jaffray in its capacity as underwriter and placement agent for Antisoma plc in the acquisition of Xanthus Pharmaceuticals Inc. and related fundraising;
  • advising Acambis plc on its successful placing and open offer to raise £40 million;
  • advising Collins Stewart in its capacity as sponsor and underwriter for Northwest Biotherapeutics Inc. on its successful IPO and fundraising on AIM;
  • advising Amsterdam Molecular Therapeutics on its successful IPO on Euronext and related fundraising of €50 million;
  • advising Ardana on its successful placing and open offer to raise £11 million;
  • advising Silverjet plc on its successful IPO and further fundraisings on AIM;
  • advising Renovo Group plc on its successful IPO on the Official List and related Global Offering of £50 million;
  • advising Oxford Biomedica plc on a proposed placing and open offer and related investment by Sigma-Aldrich to raise £30.1 million;
  • advising ReNeuron Group plc on its successful IPO on AIM; and
  • advising Plethora Solutions plc on its successful IPO on AIM, and its subsequent fundraising in connection with its acquisition of Timm Medical.

Ms. Diep spent a year as Legal Counsel for the Equity Capital Markets department of Lehman Brothers before joining Morrison & Foerster.

Ms. Diep qualified as a solicitor in 1998.
