Susan McLean is an associate in the London office of Morrison and Foerster and a member of the Technology Transactions Group and the Global Sourcing Group.

Mrs. McLean advises on a wide range of non-contentious technology matters including outsourcing transactions, technology procurement, software licensing and development, and e-commerce. The primary focus of her practice is outsourcing (including IT, business process, call centre, finance and accounting, and facilities management outsourcing). She has particular experience in offshore outsourcing in the Indian market. She has acted for customers (private and public) and suppliers, and has particular financial services experience, having acted for a variety of customers in the banking, insurance, life and pensions and investment sectors, and spent time on secondment with Lloyds TSB, Skandia and Goldman Sachs International.

Most recently Mrs. McLean has been involved in acting for an insurance provider in connection with a series of IT transactions relating to its telematics strategy, acting for a leading asia pacific airline in connection with an IT outsourcing deal, acting for a major international travel company in connection with the outsourcing of its finance and accounting systems, and acting for a bank in connection with a business process offshore outsourcing deal.

Mrs. McLean received an LLB in Law from the University of Leeds in 1997 and graduated from the College of Law, York in 1998. She qualified as a solicitor in 2000.
