Amina Adam is an associate in the Employment Group of Morrison & Foerster. Ms. Adam has represented clients in a wide range of industries and has worked on both contentious and non-contentious matters. Recent experience includes:

• Advising on personnel matters, including protection of confidential information, privacy issues and enforcement of non-compete clauses;
• Advising on the global harmonisation of HR policies and in particular reviewing its compliance with local laws in the EMEA region;
• Advising on discrimination and unfair dismissal claims;
• Providing employment advice and representation in employment tribunal/County court and High court claims including undertaking the advocacy; and
• Advising and drafting the employment aspects of outsourcing and other corporate deals including TUPE and Works Council issues in the UK, EMEA region and U.S.

Ms. Adam has written a number of articles for publications including the Institute of Legal Executive Journal, Personnel Today, European Supply Chain Management and City HR Review magazines.

Ms. Adam was called to the Bar in 1996, after completing her LL.M at Queen Mary & Westfield College in London in 1995. She worked at Milbank Tweed Hadley and McCloy before joining Morrison & Foerster in 2007.
