Claudine Smith is an associate in the London office of Morrison & Foerster and a member of the Technology Transactions Group and the Global Sourcing Group.

Ms. Smith has been involved in computer technology projects including drafting and reviewing of bespoke software supply agreements, advising on aspects of complex outsourcing arrangements, preparing and negotiating development, support and maintenance agreements, software licenses and escrow arrangements. Ms. Smith also provides advice on Data Protection and Freedom of Information issues.

Ms. Smith has extensive training on unregistered and registered design rights, patents and procedures for enforcing IP rights. She is the co-author of an article on Threats Actions.

Ms. Smith completed a law degree (LL.B Honors) at Edinburgh University in 2001, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law at Nottingham Law School in 2003, and the Legal Practice Course at Birmingham College of Law in 2004. She holds a masters degree in Information Technology and Telecommunications Law from Strathclyde University and qualified as a solicitor in 2006.
