Kevin Roberts is a litigation partner in the London office of Morrison & Foerster, specialising in regulatory compliance and investigations and white collar crime. This ranges from regulatory matters dealt with by the Financial Services Authority, Office of Fair Trading, Office of Communications, Medicines Healthcare Regulatory Authority or the Health and Safety Executive, to prosecutions brought by the Serious Fraud Office. He advises corporations and individuals upon money laundering investigations and compliance, corruption, tax investigations, corporate manslaughter, fraud and Financial Services Authority investigations and enforcement. He assists companies in respect of internal investigations, asset recovery and corporate governance and compliance with regulation and legislation.

Mr. Roberts is noted in the UK Legal 500 for his work on the generics cartel prosecution, the largest prosecution ever brought by the SFO in the UK.

Mr. Roberts is a frequent speaker on money laundering, confiscation and asset recovery and is a contributing author to the leading text, Smith, Owen and Bodnar on Asset Recovery. He is Corporate Counsel Liaison Officer for the IBA’s Business Crime Committee and Treasurer of the European Criminal Bar Association. As part of his international practice he advises on mutual assistance requests and extradition.

Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Roberts was a partner in the London office of Irwin Mitchell. He received his BA (Hons) from Bristol University in 1990 and qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and as a Higher Courts Advocate in 2001. Mr. Roberts is admitted to practice in England & Wales.
