Mr. Wheeler’s recent experience includes:

• Acting for the family of Sheikh Fahad Mohammad Al-Sabah in the defence of trust assets worldwide in the US$800 million Grupo Torras litigation, coordinating litigation in the Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Jersey and Switzerland.
• Acting for the liquidators of Trading Partners Limited against the Versailles Group fraudster, Carlton Cushnie. The Versailles Group collapsed spectacularly and Mr. Wheeler led the team in litigation in, inter alia, England, France and the British Virgin Islands.
• Acting for the claimant in the Koonmen v Bender hedge fund dispute. Mr. Koonmen was a US hedge fund trader based in Tokyo. The dispute concerned US$130 million of profits made in 18 months, with litigation in Anguilla and Jersey.
• Acting for Universal Music, Sony BMG, EMI Records, Cinram and others in the administrations of Silverscreen, Music Zone, Choices, Fopp and Golds.
