Description:

The Internet continues to throw up many challenges to accepted, legal principles and the area of copyright is no exception. We will discuss the challenges faced by copyright owners, intermediaries and end-users in this fast-paced environment.

During the course of the breakfast briefing we will look at initiatives aimed at dealing with copyright in the U.S. and Europe, including technological mandates such as broadcast flag and "self-help" attacks on P2P networks as well as more aggressive litigation. We will also discuss the backlash against these efforts.
