NEW YORK and LONDON, March 15, 2007 – Morrison & Foerster LLP is pleased to announce that 21 attorneys were elected to the partnership, effective January 1, 2007. The new partners represent twelve offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia, and five practice areas including: corporate, litigation, patent, technology transactions, and real estate.
Within Europe, there are two new partners for the firm’s London office; Ann Bevitt, who practices employment law within the litigation department and Natalie Diep, a corporate lawyer.
“The London partners are delighted that Ann and Natalie are joining the partnership,” said Julian Thurston, Managing Partner in London. “These elections underline the firm’s success in London in our targeted practices, with Natalie being a key member of the London arm of our integrated global corporate practice and Ann playing a critical role with our global sourcing and privacy practice as well as handling local labour and employment issues. They are great additions to our team, both locally and globally.”
The firm has made a number of other senior appointments in London in the first three months of 2007. Corporate associate Bradley Theobald has been promoted to Of Counsel; Chris Coulter joined the technology group as a partner from Ashurst; and the firm has also announced that capital markets partners Peter Green and Jeremy Jennings-Mares from Freshfields will join the London office in April.
