San Francisco -- January 7, 2003 -- Morrison & Foerster LLP today announced that it has launched a Hebrew website, www.mofo.co.il.  The site serves as a resource to clients of the firm's Israel-related practice, Israeli lawyers, accountants, investment firms, and other professionals operating in Israel.

The launch of a Hebrew-language website confirms our commitment to the Israeli market," said Bruce Mann, head of the firm's Israel practice.

Morrison & Foerster became the first international law firm to launch a Hebrew website. The site contains a Hebrew-language description of the firm's Israel-related practice, a listing of attorneys who are members of the group, Hebrew-language articles published by the firm, links to news about the firm and the Israel practice, and links to Morrison & Foerster legal updates in English.

The firm's Israel practice group includes several attorneys who have practiced law in Israel, who speak Hebrew and who are keenly aware of the similarities and differences between the U.S. and Israel business and legal systems and culture.

On the basis of this expertise, the firm was selected by the Israeli Economic Mission to North America to participate in Israel's U.S. Investor Advisory Forum.
