New York -- March 11, 2003 -- Morrison & Foerster LLP is pleased to announce that New York associate Oz Benamram has accepted the position of Practice Resources Attorney. This is the first time the firm has dedicated a full-time attorney to this position, which is designed to funnel the flow of already available information and knowledge through software and technology to all firm attorneys for seamless and efficient client service. Mr. Benamram has been a corporate associate with the New York office since 1999.

In this new position, Mr. Benamram provides strategic direction for the firm in the use of technology and knowledge management to support the substantive practice of law. He also ensures the implementation and broad adoption of technology by practice groups worldwide.

Mr. Benamram's responsibilities will include developing the firm's online training capabilities, easing the process of sharing documents and relevant information, and increasing the number and usefulness of firm master documents. He will also assist practice groups in developing a unified definition of legal fields, as a basis for providing comprehensive and easily accessible firm-wide information and resources.

Making information and knowledge more accessible will enable our attorneys to practice more effectively and efficiently," Oz Benamram said. Mr. Benamram's corporate practice has focused on corporate and securities law, assisting clients primarily with public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, joint venture agreements, securities issues, and general business matters. In addition, he served as the Israel Practice Group coordinator where he used his knowledge of both American and Israeli business cultures and legal systems to represent Israeli businesses in the United States as well as foreign investors in Israel. In 2001 he was seconded to the litigation department to assist on a large electronic discovery and document production project.

Mr. Benamram received his LL.B., Bachelor of Laws, from the Tel Aviv University Law School in 1995, then clerked for the Honorable Justice Mishael Cheshin of the Supreme Court of Israel. He began his career as a litigation associate with Danziger, Klagsbald & Co. in Israel before joining Morrison & Foerster.
