Taeko Yamamoto is Of Counsel in the Corporate Finance Group in the New York office of Morrison & Foerster LLP. Her practice focuses on general corporate, securities and financing law. Ms. Yamamoto has advised both domestic and international clients on a broad range of matters, including mergers and acquisitions, federal securities law compliance, venture capital investments, acquisition financing, capital formation, secured transactions and joint venture arrangements.

Ms. Yamamoto received her B.A. degree, summa cum laude , Phi Beta Kappa, from Brandeis University in 1991 and her J.D. degree from The George Washington University, where she was a staff member of the Journal of International Law and Economics , in 1994.

Ms. Yamamoto was born in Japan and is bilingual in English and Japanese. She is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and Massachusetts and the District of Columbia and is a member of the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association.
