Yukako Wagatsuma is a partner of Ito & Mitomi, registered associated offices of Morrison & Foerster LLP. Ms. Wagatsuma represents both Japanese and non-Japanese corporations on a wide range of cross-border and domestic legal matters with an emphasis on M&A, restructurings, and intellectual property advice.

In her career, Ms. Wagatsuma has been involved in various cross-border transactions, including joint venture projects and M&As by both Japanese and foreign companies. Ms. Wagatsuma has also been active in various types of domestic and international corporate matters and intellectual property.

Ms. Wagatsuma received her LL.B. from the Tokyo University Faculty of Law in 1986, graduated from the Legal Training and Research Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan in 1988 and was admitted as Bengoshi to practice in Japan. Ms. Wagatsuma also received her LL.M. from New York University School of Law in 1992. Prior to joining Ito & Mitomi in 2004, Ms. Wagatsuma was a partner of Mitsui, Yasuda, Wani & Maeda.
