Ms. Hyotani is an associate of Ito & Mitomi and represents clients in a range of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings.

Ms. Hyotani received her B.A. degree in literature from Ochanomizu University Faculty of Letter and Education in 1984. She worked for the Systems Departments of Toray Industry Co., from 1984 to 1990, and the Industrial Bank of Japan (now Mizuho Corporate Bank, Ltd.), from 1990 to 1994. She graduated from the Legal Research and Training Institute of the Supreme Court of Japan in October 2004. Ms. Hyotani is a Bengoshi admitted to practice in Japan.
