Mr. Imagi is an associate in the firm’s Technology Transactions Group. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Imagi was a member of the IP Licensing Department at Hitachi, Ltd., where he gained extensive experience in licensing transactions, having negotiated and closed numerous patent license agreements in the fields of information technology, telecommunications and semiconductors. He has substantial experience in handling intellectual property issues for joint venture projects, including conducting due diligence and developing intellectual property strategies for new companies.

Mr. Imagi received his LL.B. degree from the University of Tokyo Faculty of Law, with an emphasis in Intellectual Property Law, and also received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Law, Science and Technology from Stanford Law School. Mr. Imagi is licensed to practice law in California and New York.
