Craig Yamakawa is an of counsel in the Business Department of the firm’s Tokyo office. Mr. Yamakawa’s practice focuses on the representation of Japanese, U.S. and European institutional clients in all major aspects of real estate practice in Japan, including the structuring, negotiating and documenting of real estate and non-performing loan assets acquisitions, dispositions and financings, asset management and servicing agreements. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster’s Tokyo office in July 2007, he was with the Tokyo office of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP and the Tokyo office of O'Melveny & Myers LLP. Mr. Yamakawa received his B.A. degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington in 1982 and his J.D. degree from the UCLA School of Law in 1989.
