Yukitoshi Uwatoko is an of counsel in the Business Department of the Firm’s Tokyo office. He was born in Tokyo, Japan in 1966. Mr. Uwatoko received his B.A. degree in Law from Waseda University in 1991 and his J.D. degree, cum laude , from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1994.

Mr. Uwatoko has experiences in a wide variety of corporate finance transactions ranging from investment fund formation, M&A transactions and commercial lending. He has represented numerous Japanese, U.S. and European corporate clients and financial institutions.

Mr. Uwatoko is admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois. He is a member of the American Bar Association.
