Samoa Watanabe is an associate in the Corporate Finance Group in the New York office of Morrison & Foerster LLP. Ms. Watanabe regularly represents Japanese and U.S. clients in international transactional matters. Ms. Watanabe has experience in a range of transactional and general corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic alliances and securities offerings.

Ms. Watanabe received her B.A. degree in English from Stanford University in 1993 and her J.D. degree from College of William and Mary in 1997. She is a member of the State Bar of California. Ms. Watanabe is a native of Japan and is fluent in Japanese.
