This seminar will provide the opportunity for audience members to learn not only about the creation and management of electronic documents in a U.S. legal context, but also about discovery obligations and crucial initial steps when litigation arises. We will discuss document retention policies, as well as key recent cases and developments in the areas of cost-shifting during discovery, privilege review, and the proposed new federal rules concerning e-discovery.
