Isabelle Sajous is Of Counsel in the Investment Management Group of Morrison & Foerster’s New York office. She specializes in representing investment advisers and registered investment companies, as well as their independent directors and service providers, in a full spectrum of regulatory and corporate matters.
Ms. Sajous assists investment companies with the preparation of disclosure documents, compliance manuals, advisory and other service agreements, and board materials. She regularly advises investment companies on their investor reports and marketing materials. In addition, Ms. Sajous counsels independent directors of investment companies with respect to regulatory, compliance, and governance issues.
She also advises corporate entities and financial institutions with respect to investment company status issues under the Investment Company Act of 1940.
Ms. Sajous counsels investment advisers to private funds in connection with their registration, reporting and compliance obligations under the Investment Advisers Act of 1940.
Ms. Sajous has represented investment advisers with respect to the formation of hedge funds, drafting fund documentation, including limited partnership agreements, offering memoranda, and subscription agreements.
Ms. Sajous earned her B.A. from Yale University in 1998 and her J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2002.
