The Legal 500 US, one of the leading independent legal referral guides, has bestowed top honors on numerous MoFo practice areas and attorneys in its just-released 2010 edition.
The guide recommends 36 practice areas and a total of 96 MoFo attorneys. Of the practice areas, seven are recommended for the first time: Corporate Restructuring; Product Liability (Pharmaceuticals & Medical Devices); Marketing & Advertising; Real Estate: East Coast; Real Estate: West Coast; Tax: Financial Products; and Tax Controversy. We received top-tier rankings in Patent Licensing; Product Liability (Aerospace & Aviation); Product Liability (Consumer Products); Data Protection & Privacy; and Technology Transactions.
In individual attorney recommendations, 16 of the 96 recommended attorneys are named as "Leading Lawyers" in their practice areas -- a short list of attorneys singled out by the editors for special recognition. Among the noteworthy highlights, Jim Brosnahan and Arturo Gonzalez feature on a list of 22 of the country's Leading Trial Lawyers; Mr. Brosnahan appears in Band 1 alongside just eight other litigators, while Mr. Gonzalez is named as one of six litigators in the "Ones to Watch" category, and is the youngest attorney on the entire list.
