Morrison & Foerster has been recognized by IFLR in three areas for their Americas Awards and in two areas for their Asia Awards. The winners will be announced this spring. For the IFLR Americas Awards, two deals have been shortlisted for Securitization deal of the year--on the first we advised the dealers in connection with the first dollar-denominated covered bonds issuance in the U.S. for a U.S. depositary institution, and on the second, we represented the arrangers and the dealers in connection with structuring and establishing a funding vehicle expressly intended for the issuance of structured products, including certificates, warrants and notes. Morrison & Foerster also has been shortlisted as Securitization legal team of the year. In Asia, we were recognized in the Equity Deal of the Year category for our work on the Angang Steel transaction and for the M&A Deal of the Year for our work on the Nikko Cordial -- Citigroup merger.
